Pink is a color made by mixing red and white and sometimes described as being a light red, but it is more accurately a bright undersaturated red.
"Pink" was not a color word known to Shakespeare: it was invented in the 17th century to describe the light red flowers of pinks, flowering plants in the genus Dianthus, possibly named from the "pinked" edges of their petals appearing to have been cut with pinking shears.
Pink is also associated with homosexuals and bisexuals, often in the form of a pink triangle.

The pink triangle (German: Rosa Winkel) was one of the Nazi concentration camp badges, used by the Nazis to identify male prisoners in concentration camps who were sent there because of their homosexuality.
Every prisoner had to wear a triangle on his or her jacket, the color of which was to categorize him or her according "to his kind." Jews had to wear the yellow badge, and "anti-social women" (often, but not exclusively, lesbians), the fl triangle.
Not all of the prisoners with a pink triangle identified themselves as gay (sometimes they were married to women, and had had homosexual sex only a few times).
