		Started to use Pinnacle 8 and was very satisfied but after updading to version 9, it was all to buggy.
		I've tried all the pinnacle version from 8 to 10.5 and all I can say is: dont spend your time on this software, unless you can get the version 8 but it wont include todays optionals.
		I contacted Pinnacle support and they said that this is a known bug and they advised me to defragment my hard drive.

		Will Studio 9 be able to make DVD's properly from MPEG 2 TV and has anyone had any experience doing this.
		Having exhausted all the obvious solutions (reinstalling, checking forums, looking at pinnacle forums) it's a bit frustrating to get guys coming on the forum asking if you've defragged your drive etc. I realise they mean well, and thank them for their contributions.
		I believe this since in addition to having the problem of rendering, I have a 2nd problem with this version of Studio where some segments of the video I transferred to the full quality DV (AVI format) are missing sound, but only when that video is played in Studio.

	Pinnacle Studio 8?
		I've tried making this using Pinnacle's Studio 8.6, but the program freezes up somewhere near the end of the rendering before it finishes creating the DVD files.
		I use an RW first and then use Roxio or ULead to copy that to an -R. You never know when Pinnacle will decide to say "disc burning failed with unknown error" about 20 minutes into the burning process leaving you with a coaster.
		I had a lot of problems compiling with Pinnacle's software in the past so I decided to use studio only for create mpeg files which can be compiled with other products.

		Until this year I have been using Studio 8 without any problems and was very satisfied with it, although I must admit I do not work in MPEG2 as I prefer to capture, rendered and burn in full quality DVD.
