Pippa Scott is the daughter of a screenwriter responsible for the Ginger Rogers-Fred Astaire films and is an actress-producer in her own right.
Miss Scott acted in such films as John Ford's The Searchers (1956); Auntie Mame (1958); Petulia (1968); My Six Loves (1963); Cold Turkey (1971) and was a consistent performer in regional and summer theaters such as John Houseman's Theater Group in Los Angeles and the Williamstown Playhouse in Massachusetts.
The daughter of playwright/screenwriter Allan Scott and niece of writer/producer Adrian Scott, Pippa Scott attended Radcliffe and UCLA before traveling abroad to England and studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

Robert Adrian Scott ( February 6, 1912 - December 25, 1973) was an American screenwriter and film producer known as one of the Hollywood Ten who was fllisted by the Hollywood movie studio bosses during the era of McCarthyism.
Scott was among the those accused of being members of the American Communist Party during the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) trials in October 1947.
Adrian is the brother of screenwriter Allan Scott, who is the father of actor Pippa Scott.
