  Boat Propellers by Piranha Propellers
Finding a boat propeller can be a chore, but Piranha propellers can help you make an educated propeller size choice and get the right propeller for your outboard motor or sterndrive.
Piranha make little outboard propellers for motors as small as 6 HP and as large as 280 HP Mercruiser sterndrives.
Piranha doesn't always have a boat propeller that is an exact match for your OEM prop.

Piranha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The piranhas or pirañas are a group of carnivorous freshwater fish living in South American rivers.
However, piranha (most likely former aquarium-dwellers) are also occasionally found in the Potomac River, but they typically do not survive the cold winters of that region.
The name piranha may come from a hybrid language composed of Tupi-Guarani languages; it may be a compound word made of the components 'pirá', meaning 'fish', and 'sanha' or 'ranha', meaning 'tooth'.

Piranha has been tested on non-Solaris Sparcstations and IBM RS6000's, and a limited amount of heterogeneity is supported in that Piranha applications can be run on these two architectures at the same time.
WAN Piranha will have to schedule effectively in an environment where 1) the availability of the computing nodes for the entire run of the computation is not certain, 2) the range of computing devices available and their capabilities will vary greatly, and 3) interprocess communication time will vary greatly.
Unfortunately, the Piranha application programmer, in writing his piranha, feeder, retreat, and other functions, would have to take into account the different architectures his program might run on and create a separate version for each one; also, there would need to be a mechanism to distribute the different executable versions to their corresponding architectures.

DVD Review - Piranha   (Site not responding. Last check: )
The latest offering is Joe Dante’s killer fish film "Piranha." (Not to be confused with the Lee Majors stinker "Killer Fish.") This 1978 film was Dante’s first (solo) attempt at directing and it shows much of the promise that he would exhibit in his later films.
Despite the fact that on the audio commentary Dante keeps stating that he had no idea what he was doing while making the film, "Piranha" shows the genesis of a director who would come to be one of the most daring, yet still mainstream directors of his day.
The sound on the DVD is Dolby Digital mono, and while that aspect is disappointing, the sound itself is clear and the dialogue (and the scary piranha sounds) are always distinguishable.

PIRANHA has been packaged as one of the series of "Roger Corman Classics" from New Horizons Home Video, and rates the designation of "classic" far more than some other titles in the series (such as the original HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP).
Obviously, PIRANHA was "inspired" by the success of JAWS -- amusingly acknowledged on screen with a shot of a "Jaws" arcade game -- but unlike the other imitations of Spielberg's hit, the movie goes on its own jaunty way, with the only copied plot elements being carnivorous fish.
Children are often seen in danger in science fiction and horror movies, but PIRANHA is one of the few to actually feed the tots to the monsters.

Evolutionists would assert that the ‘terrible piranhas’ bear witness to a world of ‘nature red in tooth and claw’, the result of long periods of evolution, with death and struggle acting to remove the weak and preserve the strong.
Though some ichthyologists (scientists who study fish) in the past tried to distinguish between carnivorous piranhas and their vegetarian cousins on the basis of appearance, even experts found it hard to determine whether a specimen was a ‘piranha’ or ‘pacu’;, and fish were frequently misidentified.
Piranhas, though primarily carnivorous, are known to eat vegetable matter as a component of their diet, and as at least one observer has noted, are probably more accurately described as ‘omnivorous opportunists’ rather than carnivores.
