		Pit Stop is truly a gem and sadly due to it being in fl and white, many theater chains refused to carry the film due to it’s color only policy and sadly, the film fell thought the cracks and it was considered Jack Hill’s lost film.
		Pit Stop actually played very widely all over the country and was a great success as a companion feature to a dog of a biker flick called Naked Angels, which was in fact manufactured only so that Pit Stop could be released.
		Although the theaters paid only "second feature" rental fees (meaning practically nada) for Pit Stop as opposed to a percentage of the box-office for the color picture, the two films were advertised as of equal stature.
