		Pitch Black is a 2000 science fiction movie, directed by David Twohy.
		Pitch Black was surprisingly successful for a B-movie, especially upon release to the DVD format.
		While the film's visual effects were not ground-breaking, it made excellent use of ambient lighting to wash scenes in yellows and blues to simulate an eerie, alien glow from a three-sunned world.
