Jose Broso, commanding officer of Solcom office of civil relations (OCR), said that the two NPA rebels were killed in a 10-minute firefight.
While fleeing from the mining area at Lansang Creek, two tunnel workers, identified as Franko Turo-turo, 66, and Lote Eroy, 48, both of Barangay Tambis, were allegedly shot and wounded by the armed men, Senior Inspector Villagarciar said.
