Original PIVCO "City Bee" prototypes had all-aluminu m monocoque space frames supplied by Norwegian aluminum company Norsk Hydro.
PIVCO intends to launch its two-passenger microcar in October; early prototypes were used in a "station car " project in Northern California (News Notes 10/25/95) and in an oil company-operated airport-rental fleet in Norway (News Notes 5/16/96).
