  Route 66 Information
When you arrive at the Route 66 Place and Twisters Soda Fountain in Williams, Arizona, we want you to have one of the most memorable stops on your trip.
The Route 66 Place is a dream realized for us and we want you to know that we're the kind of folks who can and do still make serious business decisions by our word and a handshake over a cup of coffee.
Route 66 was a very narrow, dangerous concrete roadway so narrow in some places it would scare us to death to see a Greyhound bus coming toward us.

Cryptology | Transposition: Geometric or Route Transposition
In geometric (or route) transposition systems, the 'smushed' together plaintext is placed in a geometrical pattern (usually a rectangular grid, but it could be a triangle, etc.) that will adequately fit the message.
One of the more interesting routes is the spiral, in which one starts at a specified corner and goes along the edge, working towards the center.
A better route than the spiral would have been one in which the text was taken out from the columns, avoiding any left to right movement that mirror the way the text was placed inside the message.

SETTING: Where paved road provides continuity with other bike routes, where traffic volumes are less than 1000 average daily trips and motor vehicle speeds are low, and where it is not feasible to create a marked bike lane.
OBJECTIVE: Safe paved route for ature and experienced bicyclists to share the road and travel in the same directions as motorized traffic with wide enough firm shoulders for pedestrians to travel in the opposite directions of motor vehicle and bicycle traffic.
Place "Bike Route" signs at frequent enough entervals to guide bicylists and inform motorists that bicycles are on roadway.

However, the amount of routing available was typically insufficient to complete all routes, and routing channels were still inserted between rows of cells to complete the design.
Without spaces inserted to complete the routing, the cells abut in all directions, and circuit area is thus equal to the sum of cell area.
The cell architecture defines those characteristics common to all cells in a library that enable them to be properly placed and routed.

This last part was a bit of a roundabout route and we might have been better taking the A3259 and A361 from Taunton to Street, but the fenland type countryside we passed through made an interesting contrast to the previous days of cycling.

It's surprising but as long as the route you plot is fairly straight, and does not zig-zag across counties as it goes, the difference between the most direct route, which stays to the West, and going further to the East is not quite as big as you might think.

Compiler Backend   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-28)
The compiler front-end is used to transform programs written in the Macah high-level language to a control/dataflow graph that is then scheduled to the configurable datapath.
The scheduling problem is formulated as a place and route problem that maps dataflow graphs from the program control/dataflow graph to a computing substrate comprising multiple instances of the datapath unrolled in time.
By casting the scheduling problem as a place and route problem, many difficult and interacting subproblems imposed by the configurable architecture can be solved simultaneously.

While a typical FPGA design is implemented in a single-user flow, the ASIC-style methodology enables a block-based, multi-user approach—a "divide and conquer" strategy to reduce the place and route time.
