Plane Crazy (first released on May 15, 1928) was the first cartoon to feature Mickey Mouse as well as Minnie Mouse (Mickey's flapper girlfriend).
After building his own aircraft, he proceeds to ask Minnie to join him for its first flight, during which he repeatedly and unsuccessfully attempts to kiss her, eventually resorting to force.
Mickey as portrayed in "Plane Crazy" was mischievous, amorous, and has often been described as a rogue.

After playing Plane Crazy nonstop for over a week, I now am beginning to wonder how I can manage to continue to enjoy the rather mundane and dull land racing games that are missing some of the special components that can only come from the amazing kind of plane racing presented here.
Plane Crazy is produced by the little-known Scottish company InnerWorkings for SegaSoft, and all I can say is that the designers must possess incredible talent to make a game like this one.
Plane Crazy's music is by no means quiet and soothing, but on the other hand it is not the run-of-the-mill tuneless techno-rock either.

Plane Crazy for PC Review - PC Plane Crazy Review
SegaSoft's Plane Crazy is a fairly unique racer that attempts to capture the thrill of aerobatic flying in an arcade action style.
Instead, all of the tracks in Plane Crazy are tight, claustrophobic affairs in which the slightest amount of oversteer results in a fiery crash.
Even trying to follow the computer-piloted planes is not always helpful, as they attempt illegal turns from time to time (it does little to boost my confidence in a game when even the computer-controlled vehicles can't follow the track).

Home of the Underdogs - Entry: Plane Crazy   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-18)
Plane Crazy is based on the very familiar theme of racing along a course, tagging checkpoints to get the extra time, and ultimately, trying to cross the finish line before any of your opponents do.
In the single race, you race against eight other planes on one of the five courses, in the ghost race, you race against yourself, trying to beat your best time, and in the championship, you race all five courses against your computer opponents, the one with the highest score at the end wins.
For instance, the closer to the ground you are, the faster you will fly, as that is where the good air is. It is a difficult skill to master, as flying close to the ground usually means you bump into it from time to time.
