  Core Talk
Coruscant and the Core Worlds is such a comprehensive tour of important Star Wars planets that it took six designers -- Craig Carey, Chris Doyle, Jason Fry, Paul Sudlow, John Terra, and Daniel Wallace -- to write it.
Many of the planets in Coruscant and the Core Worlds were designed with similar tactics: pulling in the most obscure and perhaps forgotten details, and forging it all into one cohesive world entry.
Star Wars is something I've always thought was exciting, special and cool, ever since I saw the first movie way back when.

 STAR WARS: Planets
This is the case for a sun and its planets, and for a planet and its moons.
Likewise the orbits of a planet's moons tend to be arranged around a special plane, which often is aligned with the planetary spin, which does not have to be parallel to the ecliptic of the planets.
In the case of the similar explosions of the Death Stars, the special plane may be determined by the path travelled by the chain reactions leading to the final detonation, which probably is determined by internal regions of weakness in the station's structure.

The complex interaction of orbits and rotations between Yag'Dhul and its moons means that the planet is continually beset by massive tidal forces powerful enough to pull the water and the atmosphere to different locations, exposing large areas of the planet to hard vacuum.
The fourth moon of the planet Yavin houses the temples and ruined buildings of the now-vanished Massassi race, and once served as the primary base for the Rebel Alliance.

 Star Wars: Galaxies - Ferrago
Obviously, the game will be set in the Star Wars universe (duh), but is not confined to just a single planet (hence the ‘Galaxies’ bit), LucasArts hint at many planets being used in the title, but as of the moment only Tatooine, Naboo and Yavin IV have been confirmed.
Star Wars Galaxies will need to be careful to try to do too much and thereby let the integral aspects of the game fall into mediocrity.
I say, focus on a few aspects of the Star Wars universe and fine tune them to the high quality that is demanded for a faithful representation of the epic saga.
