100 Things To Do In Scotland Before You Die
Ask most bands where their favourite place to play in the world is, the answer is always the same: Glasgow Barrowland.
This band of enthusiastic musicians - of which I am a member - gives regular concerts, which are a must.
The Barrowland is a sweaty, dark, cavernous canvas for the best bands in the world to go to town on like fevered Jackson Pollocks, squirting sound and colour over the pogoing masses below.

Play (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Play was a popular Swedish pop band that made its debut on the music scene in 2001.
Though Play performed as a group for the last time in December 2004 and rumors of the group's break-up abounded throughout 2005, official word was released by the members of Play on September 29, 2005, that the group was indeed on an indefinite break.
Play's third US album, Don't Stop the Music, was released on March 9, 2004, accompanied by numerous appearances and performances by Janet, Anais, Rosie, and Anna in Limited Too stores across the country and in the Spring Thing Tour, along with J-Me, Stevie Brock, and Jump5.

The band play like pop music with a classical feel and it is something I am not into at all, so I didn't care for this, but the vocals fit the music and for the style they play I guess they are good.
This band used to be a wicked swedish death metal band, but now they are nothing more than a 3rd rate nu metal Pantera wanna be band with tough guy vocals and those jump metal riffs.
While not a big fan of these styles of bands, this band is good, cause the riffs they write are not generic and sound like there is thought behind them and not just about getting people to mosh.

For this band of Swedish shredders, it is to play the blistering trebly black metal of the first modern generation, which is to say fundamentally melodic in a series of movements that are almost pure rhythm.
It seems clear from this release that this band is at the top of a genre that retains its hold on life despite the changes in its audience as a whole, and that while the precepts of the genre may bore many of us, these gentlemen have handcrafted a lease on life for this style.
This band is strong in their abilities but often lost in focus, making music that has all the makings of an epic sound except for the twentieth of compositional effort which determines its ultimate relevance.

So many death metal bands hold themselves to mundane limitations: gotta have cookie monster vocals, gotta downtune and play only power cords, gotta write lame lyrics about Satan, etc, etc, etc, it's refreshing to see a band say to hell with trends and do their own thing.

Danish group Aqua arrived on the international pop scene in 1997 with their multimillion-selling smash single "Barbie Girl."
