This allowed gamers to select from up to 6 different games (You may remember the old Nintendo Playdia arcade system which gave gamers a choice of 10 feeble NES games).
When a game started to lose popularity, the arcade owner could just order new game cartridges (which came with moves stickers and marquee headers) and could swap out games in less than a minute.
