That said, and although it isn't fair to limit it to this category, Please Save My Earth is at its heart a classic shoujo-style romance, complete with unreciprocated love, a strong hint of tragedy, and some gender-ambiguous relationships (not everybody is reborn as the same sex they were in past lives).
My only (very minor) complaint is that a couple performances are perhaps a little on the wistful side; not inappropriate, but weaker than the rest of the very strong cast.
All in all, Please Save My Earth is a very good piece of anime, both shoujo-style and in general, for the first five episodes--an unusual story that is visually appealing, powerfully acted, extremely well written, and populated with deep, interesting characters.

Please Save My Earth is definitely a dialogue movie, and the interplay between the characters in both language versions is quite good, though the Japanese actress for Alice gets a better nod from me for the better performance.
Please Save My Earth is a show that doesn't end in what many feel is a true ending, and it's not surprising as the six OVA's are trying to deal with a large number of manga volumes.

Please Save My Earth is the story of Alice, a teenage girl who is dealing with the awkwardness of adolescence as best she can.
Alice doesn't know what to think of it all until she has the same mysterious dream...and as she meets others who have memories of their former lives on the lunar base, it becomes clear that some sins aren't forgiven in just one lifetime.
Although my personal Christian beliefs do not include reincarnation by any means, the question at the core still rings true for all people regardless of religion...should who we were yesterday, or a month, a year, or ten years ago, determine who we can be, will be, or should be?

AAW: Please Save My Earth Quick Review   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
Please Save My Earth is yet another finely crafted shoujo-style series, but its appeal goes well beyond that category.
It would be a nearly perfect series, were it not for the final episode, which is rather abstract, a bit silly, dumps most of the plotlines, and leaves almost every question unanswered.
For five episodes, Please Save My Earth is an engrossing ride, but the disastrous final episode is almost frustrating enough to make the whole thing worth skipping.

Please Save My Earth has been popular amongst fans for quite some time now, in its original 3-volume, dubbed-only VHS incarnation.
Please Save My Earth is a rare treat for shoujo fans, a complex show with plenty of love triangles, an engaging and unique storyline, and an end theme by the ever-popular Yoko Kanno.
There is one flaw with the actual plotline of the show, and it is this: The PSME manga ran to over 20 volumes, and in the conversion to 6 half hour episodes, something was bound to be lost.

However, everything in Alice's life changes when two boys from her school tell her of the strange dreams they have been sharing, dreams of another time in which they had different names and lived as part of a team of seven alien scientists stationed in a laboratory on the moon.
