The eleventh Plenary meeting of the Wassenaar Arrangement (WA) was held in Vienna, 13-14 December 2005, and was chaired by Ambassador Dorothea Auer (Austria).
The Plenary reiterated that the WA is open, on a global and non-discriminatory basis, to prospective adherents that comply with the agreed criteria, and noted that membership applications would continue to be examined on a case-by-case basis.

 International Criminal Court : Plenary Sessions
The Rome Statute and the Rules of Procedure and evidence stipulate that the judges shall meet in plenary sessions to take certain important decisions that require their full consideration, such as the organisation of the judiciary of the Court in the three Divisions (Pre-Trial, Trial, and Appeals Divisions).
The judges shall meet in plenary session at least once a year to exercise their functions under the Statute, the Rules and the Regulations and, if necessary, in special plenary sessions convened by the President on his or her own motion or at the request of one half of the judges.
According to rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence, after the inaugural ceremony of the ICC, on 11 March 2003, the judges have met twice in plenary session, firstly to elect the President and the two Vice Presidents, and lastly to assign the judges to the three divisions.

Vatican, Nov. 29, 2005 (CWNews.com) - Pope Benedict XVI (bio - news) has declared a plenary indulgence for Catholics who honor the Virgin Mary on the feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8.
A plenary indulgence, as Pope Paul VI explained in Indulgentiarum Doctrina in 1967, is "a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilty has already been forgiven." Indulgences can be decreed by the Pope or, under certain restrictions, bishops.
Pope John Paul II had declared plenary indulgences for the Jubilee Year 2000 and again for the Year of the Eucharist, which ran from October 2004 to October 2005.
