A Bode magnitude plot is a graph of log magnitude against log frequency often used in signal processing to show the transfer function or frequency response of an LTI system.
The magnitude axis of the Bode plot is often converted directly to decibels.
In the case of an irreducible polynomial, the best way to correct the plot is to actually calculate the magnitude of the transfer funcition at the pole or zero corresponding to the irreducible polynomial, and put that dot over or under the line at that pole or zero.

Although it can still be useful to generate scatter plots of the response variable against each of the independent variables, this does not take into account the effect of the other independent variables in the model.
Partial regression plots attempt to show the effect of adding an additional variable to the model (given that one or more indpendent variables are already in the model).
Partial regression plots are most commonly used to identify leverage points and influential data points that might not be leverage points.

Plots may be displayed in one of eight styles: lines, points, linespoints, impulses, dots, steps, fsteps, histeps, errorbars, xerrorbars, yerrorbars, xyerrorbars, boxes, boxerrorbars, boxxyerrorbars, financebars, candlesticks or vector To specify the line/point style use the plot command as follows:

 Visualize your data with gnuplot
In 3D plots, you can drag the mouse to rotate the image (pressing control changes only the view of the axes instead; so for graphs that take too long to render, you can change the axes first, and then release the control key to re-render the graph).
Also, note that each plot also automatically calculates widths for the axes, tics, and so on -- so you may have to tinker with the margin widths to get the axes of the different plots to line up.
In this section, we briefly discuss some of these concepts, and then include a script from one of the gnuplot demo files (electron.dem), which plots an amplitude-frequency response plot of the sort commonly seen in electronics to illustrate their usage.

Plot refers to the series of events that give a story its meaning and effect.
In some stories, the author structures the entire plot chronologically, with the first event followed by the second, third, and so on, like beads on a string.
In one general view of plot, however—and one that describes many works of fiction—the story begins with rising action as the character experiences conflict through a series of plot complications that entangle him or her more deeply in the problem.
