		On the pro side, I was thrilled to take part in viewing this once again, and was reminded why The Black Hole stuck with me all these years, even after other more popular and big-budgeted action space action thrillers came and went (ex: Krull, Battle Beyond the Stars)...it was the story.
		Throughout the story, we are given clues to what is really happening, and the surprise revelations towards the climax are reminiscent of what Rod Serling may have wrote.
		I was overwhelmed by the teaser trailer (too bad it's not included on this DVD) where the green grid is moving all over the screen, ending with the Black Hole logo swifting and twisting in fl.

		Is this plot hole caused by JY revising his novel (I believe Lanny Lin's translation is the 2nd ed.

		Such is the level of intelligence of The Hole, a film that contains three reasonalby big names (Thora Birch, Keira Knightley, Embeth Davidtz), but still didn't merit a theatrical release -- despite a pre-fameshot of Knightley sans shirt.
		The horrors of The Hole's hopeless plot are nearly trumped by the appalling British accent that Birch puts on, but it's the ridiculous structure and unlikely setup here that makes the whole affair go down in flames.
		Based on a book written by an 18-year-old in 1993 and directed by the man behind Godsend, the only thing going for The Hole is a perverse need to watch as it falls apart.

		This is such an obvious plot hole that I'm sure it's been discussed to death, but I can't seem to find any threads which discuss it.
		My concern surrounds the central plot, the 'geth', machines who come to the Earth every 50,000 years to wipe out all biological life.
		Now if you look at the ACTUAL plot that's been revieled for Mass Effect, the Geth attack civilisations, that, as I saw a dev mention, picks up signals (radiowaves) from their ships etc. Meaning that they have to have that kind of technology to even be found by the Geth!
