For the past year i have been manually spraying my basilisk, and im so tired of how often i have to do it, it takes up alot of my time to keep it 80 percent.
I've heard stories about how some people had foggers and there was no cover on it and their lizard got into the water tank where the water was near boiling and it was basically boiled to death.
We have our basilisks in a 6ft tall cage and the bottom has a large water "bowl" (it's actually one of those ponds from lowes) with a water fountain that shoots water up through the cage all day.

Also a baby basilisk needs to have a somewhat smaller cage, I would not start with anything under 35 gallons for a single basilisk and don't double it for two.
basilisks are beutiful lizards and I have kept them before and like them but the truth is they usaully are bad captives if they are wild caught.
I have nothing against basilisks but the truth is they are not good pets for most people and to say they are is wrong and cruel.
