We decided last Sunday that this week we should take a boat trip to Po Toi island which lies off the coast south of Stanley.
Po Toi is a rather flat island, with lovely sea views all round, but little shelter should it rain.
18 + 1 trampers made it to Po Toi, the island off the south of Hong Kong island, that is to say 18 made it by boat and Andy came by wind surfing.

Water temperature was nice and warm at 28°C and there were only 13 of us on board.
If not for the low visibility, this is a great site covered with many white and orange-colored soft corals.

 Seizure of unmanifested turtles off Po Toi   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-15)
Police last (November 20) night seized $654,000 worth of unmanifested turtles and arrested 12 crewmen on board two vessels off Po Toi.
At about 10 pm, Police officers on patrol launches saw some persons acting suspiciously aboard a Hong Kong fishing vessel and a Mainland vessel south of Po Toi.
Officers then boarded the two vessels for investigations and found some 900 boxes of turtles reportedly imported from Thailand.
