	Podracing - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki
		Podracers were small, one-man repulsorcraft, composed of an anti-gravity pod propelled by one or more pairs of large turbine engines.
		Podracing was popularized in the Outer Rim Territories during the last decades of the Galactic Republic.
		Although technically illegal, Podracing flourished during the rule of the Galactic Republic, particularly among planets in the Outer Rim and on worlds such as Malastare and Ando Prime.

		The downside is that to podrace successfuly, you need the UR's (Anakin and Sebulba) and to have a few cards with two destiny numbers (ie YJ reflections).
		I have no doubt that the worlds will be won by someone playing two podracing decks, but YJ isn't about the worlds.
		YJ is about having fun and podracing without the UR's is going to be great fun in local tournaments (not that we have many of those round here).

		The podrace set he is refering to is the Podrace Bucket, and it does indeed have tires.
		And there ya go...I checked the scan at Peeron for 7159, and the wheel hubs were incorporated into the podracer engines, but like Dave suggests, the intent with buckets (and, I would hope, all LEGO elements) is normally to be used for more than just the models in the instruction booklet.
		As was mentioned earlier, the wheel hubs were incorporated into the podracer designs and, for the most part, are buried in the engines of the various pods.

		The dogfights in A New Hope, the asteroid chase in Empire, the speeder chases in both Jedi and Clones, and most of all, the podrace in Menace.
