	Point Pleasant NJ - A New Jersey Shore site
		The land known as Point Pleasant NJ, inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Indians in 1609, was first spotted by the Sea Captain Henry Hudson from the deck of his ship, the "Half Moon" as he made his way north up the NJ Coast past Bay Head.
		Point Pleasant shares the Manasquan Inlet with Manasquan New Jersey, one of the better Point Pleasant Fishing spots along the Jersey Shore.It was not until 1915 that the permanent boardwalk was installed along the beachfront.
		It ran the entire length of Point Pleasant NJ Beach, however, the hurricane of 1938 shortened it to it's present length.
