JERNAS system, also known as Rapier FSC is a mobile, low altitude and point defense system designed to counter airborne threats including UAVs, and stealth cruise missiles as well as fixed and rotary wing aircraft, in all weather and extreme electronic warfare environments.
The system was selected the system in 2002, to equip a new air defense regiment of the Malaysian Army, scheduled for operation by 2005.
Two British Army air defense units and three RAF Squadrons are currently equipped with 60 Rapier FCS units, which are scheduled to remain in service at least until 2020.

A point defense system would just increase a warships survivability to a semi-realistic system so it wouldn't be that big a deal.
A point defense system would knock a few fighters out but the others would still do severe damage to the warship before it shot down an entire attack force of fighters and bombers.
I figure the Kinetic burst cannons will act as point defense.

I've got a question about the total point cost of the Mark 15 Phalanx Point Defense System on pg 141 of TUV.
The PTS references the tactical computer on pg 162, which has a total cost of 9 real points (after dividing by 5).
I thought there was a rule (or FAQ or post to this board) that said vehicles don't get to divide by 5 for their equipment, since the total cost is divided by 5.
