Sudan denies Sanaa tripartite summit to target isolation of Eritrea
Sudan announced it holds Eritrean prisoners who were fighting beside the rebels in the eastern parts of the country, while the warring Sudanese sides are expected to sign a peace agreement today in order to halt the fighting, during the negotiations aiming at suspending the war which erupted 19 years ago.
Adams Hamid Mousa, the Wali (governor) of Kasla, east Sudan, said that it is not ruled out that the rebel movement will carry out another military operation with the support of the Eritrean army before the resumption of negotiations between the government and the rebels in Mashakos, Kenya.

When the CPA was being negotiated, the SPLA was recognized as a sole representative of the interests of southern Sudan despite the presence of other armed groups in the region, including the SSDF.
David Chand, the deputy leader of the SSDF's political wing, said in an interview that while most of the oil fields are located in the Nuer land, the Dinka-dominated government is taking all the revenue.
In Sudan, that presence is Jarch Management Group, a firm based in the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.
