Pollstar has compiled the 2002 year end top 100 tours.
The second half of the concerts was sold out or next to sold out because people got confident Axl Rose would make it on stage and because they had heard of the other Guns N' Roses concerts and how good the concert was.
Pollstar was either very generous or made a mistake by giving Guns N Roses a "City / Shows" rating of 16/16.

This just in, via Pollstar: Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (pictured) have been booked to play the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis on Saturday, February 9, 2008.
Marsalis, the Grammy Award and Pulitzer Prize winning trumpeter and composer, serves as the director of the 15-member Orchestra, which was founded in 1988 and is the “house band” for the Jazz at Lincoln Center program based at the NYC concert venue.
As with all shows listed on Pollstar, this concert should not be considered confirmed until officially announced by the venue.

Fans purchased 37.9 million tickets to the top 100 concert tours, compared with 36.3 million in 2005, according to Pollstar.
The average ticket price paid to attend a show on those tours was $61.45, up 8 percent over last year's average of $56.88, Bongiovanni said.

The top 100 concert tours sold 34.4 million tickets in 2001, down about 7 percent from 37.1 million the year before, according to an analysis by Pollstar magazine.
The band's $109.7 million in estimated ticket sales is second only to the Rolling Stones' gross of $121.2 million in 1994, Pollstar said.
