Polydor Records is a record label currently headquartered in the UK, and is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
By the early 1990s, Polydor began to underperform, forcing PolyGram to gut most of its staff and shift it under their newly constructed PLG (PolyGram Label Group), a cost effective outfit designed to guide its lesser performing labels (like Island Records, London Records, Atlas Records, Verve Records) to continue operating without PolyGram wasting/losing more money.
Polydor's first #1 single in the U.S., in 1981/82, was the Titles theme of the British film Chariots of Fire, by Greek electronic composer and artist Vangelis [1].

Thus, I could precisely reconstruct, date after date, the genesis of the My Bonnie LP (the first one on which the Beatles are featured), from its recording in December 1961 to its official release in the spring of 1962.

You have excellent insight about Polydor Souder…Let me add… the dude is probably a mulato and feels rejection from both the white and the fl community (explains his ‘amazement’ at the level of racism in MTU after a short visit.).
He also doesn’t get on with women and it must be seriously considered that he has a face like the back of a number 69 bus with a matching personality.

Polydor were gearing themselves up for the release of the single, now scheduled for the third week of the month.
The band had been lined up for a series of dates at the famous Marquee in Wardour Street, Soho and were due to play every second Sunday there starting on the 14th October and finishing on the 13th November.
