Reconstructionism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Polytheistic Reconstructionism, or alternately, "pagan reconstructionism", is a branch of present-day paganism where emphasis is laid on cultural specificity and scholarly research of ancient sources in order to worship the gods in an authentic and relevant manner.
Christian Reconstructionism is a relatively recent term, appearing after the social changes of the 1960s.
It calls for Christians to seek to pervade all areas of life with their faith, including civil government, and envisions the private and civil enforcement of the general principles of Old Testament and New Testament moral law, resulting in a Christian theocracy.

Ancient Greek religion - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Greek religion is the polytheistic religion practiced in ancient Greece in form of cult practices, thus the practical counterpart of Greek mythology.
It is perhaps misleading to speak of "Greek religion" as a unified system of dogma or ritual; perhaps the most conspicuous aspect of the religions practised in the Greek city states is their overall variety and their localism.
Greek religion spans a period from Minoan and Mycenean periods to the days of Hellenistic Greece and its ultimate conquest by the Roman Empire.

 Articles - Neopaganism
The main distinction between the brances is between reconstructionism, the attempt to base a modern approach to paganism on a particular historical culture, and syncretistic or eclectic approaches that may adopt various historical influences, but synthesize them into a personalized religion.
For reconstructionist Pagans, (Nordics, Celtics, Near East Reconstructionists, Greeks, and some Druids), divinity is polytheistic.
While not identical, Hellenic (Greek) and Roman religion would have been difficult to fully disentangle from each other, even in late antiquity, owing to the cultural exchanges and diffusion of cults and philosophies during the Roman imperial period.

Roman Reconstructionism is a modern Pagan religious movement that bases its worship and cultic practices on the polytheistic pre-Christian Religio found in Rome and in surrounding cities and tribes.
