	Heavy metal music
		Heavy metal is an evolutionary product of pop, blues and "classical" music with a generally accepted life cycle of 20 years, from approximately 1970 to 1990.
		Goth Metal fuses the bleak, icy atmospherics of goth rock with the loud guitars and aggression of heavy metal, finding the middle ground between the two styles in a melodramatic sense of theater and lyrical obsessions with religion and horror.
		Stoner metal, with its heavy, sometimes slow and sludgily distorted riffs and the obvious influence of psychedelic music, creates a sound that is strongly reminiscent of the 1970s metal of Black Sabbath, Budgie, and similar bands.

		I would say they are not nu-metal as to me new metal is linkiln park and limp bizkit style riffs with samples.
		If all you have to have to be metal is distorted guitar, than I guess calling these bands "nu-metal" makes sense.
		Of course, when you get down to it, they were probably influenced by earlier metal bands (even if you can't hear it), so nu-metal could make sense as a genre.

		Most tunes clock in at four minutes or less which makes the album seem more like a pop album than a metal album due to the structure of the songs.
		However, the musical panache TNT exhibits is vastly superior to many bands in the pop-metal genre (this goes back all the way to the '80s) and this alone separates the disc from other pop-metal acts.
		The first song "Just Like God" has a vocal that is heavily processed during the verses which makes it seem like an odd choice for the band to start off their disc; however, the chorus is more pop-oriented and exactly what you'd expect from TNT.
