	DVD Review: Porkys: 1+2 Double Feature
		Although generally regarded as a classic in the teen film genre, "Porkys" simply has seemed to inspire a re-visit in the updated "American Pie".
		SOUND: "Porkys" gets a new Dolby Surround presentation on this double feature DVD, but the results are generally decent for the film's age.
		EXTRAS: Trailers for "Revenge Of the Nerds" 1 and "Porkys" 1 are on the first side with the original and the trailers for both sequels are on the other side with the sequel.

		The inevitable sequel, Porky's II: The Next Day supposedly takes place, you guessed it, the next day after all their quarrels with Porky and the rest of their mischief.
		Unfaithful to the title, Porky and his bar have been dropped from the film, and instead the boys take on a Shakespeare hating, KKK worshiping reverend (of all things), as well as a smarmy politician, who attempt to ruin the lives of our favorite teens.
		Porky's II suffers the same thing as most teen comedy sequels, and that is the fact that it has been heavily watered down compared to the original.

		If it is supposed to be a youth-oriented junky entertainment film, it better show plenty of locker room humor, bare breasts, raunchy sexual jokes, and situations in which good kids triumph over the pretenders and martinets who control their lives.
		Porky's is far more realistic than almost all of the films in the IMDb top 250.
		They don't understand why we like Porky's, indicating that (1) they have no concept of reality, or (2) they don't think reality is important in filmmaking, or (3) they have no sense of humor.
