Cayenne is often recommended as a "thermogenic" compound for increasing metabolic rate — an effect that may be related to its ability to dilate blood vessels and cause a local sensation of "warming."
As a thermogenic aid to increase metabolism, cayenne may have some modest effects at very high doses (3 grams or more), but these effects are small and the risk of gastrointestinal side effects (heartburn) is high.

Cayenne breaks the the common stereotype that a server-side open source product can be either a library or a command-line application.
One of the cornerstones of Cayenne is a concise and readable expression language for object and database graph traversal and SQL-like conditions.
Cayenne does not attempt to create its own SQL dialect and force users to program in it, since it would be redundant and inherently limited (so there is no "CQL").

 Porsche Cayenne Review
Until just a few days ago, the Roadfly staff hadn't had a chance to drive the Cayenne, and since we don't like to take advantage of our friends at the local Porsche dealership for press loaners we were content to keep waiting on Porsche to deliver a test vehicle.
Driving the Cayenne is definitely an experience - everyone should take a test drive, just to experience firsthand how perverse it feels to push around nearly 3 tons of sheet metal on a short-wheel-based, unit-body platform.
Slowing the Cayenne is relatively uneventful, but we'd be afraid of the brakes fading if asked to stop hard more than a few times in a row.
