Port Weller, Ontario is a village located at a Latitude of 43°13' North and Longitude of 79°13' West in the Canadian province of Ontario.
It is located 8 kilometres north of the centre of St.
Catharines, Ontario, but is actually part of that city in much the same way as Port Dalhousie, at the north end of the Welland Canal.

Port Weller marks the northern entrance of the Welland Canal, which links Lake Ontario with Lake Erie.
The canal's original 1829 northern terminus was Port Dalhousie.
The main light at Port Weller was further inland from the pierhead.

Yesterday, night I heard a Henslow's Sparrow in Port Colborne, Ont. It was on the north end of the field at the east corner of Minor Rd. and Route 3.
Bird is at the north end of Mary Malcomson Park aka as Weller Woods.Bird is singing and of course difficult to locate.
From the Niagara River, April 14, a BLACK-HEADED GULL was seen from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, as it flew out to Lake Ontario in the evening.

Initial inspections of Rochester’s fast ferry following a mishap on Monday indicate minor damage, city officials said Tuesday.
The Spirit of Ontario 1 slipped from supporting blocks when the blocks failed at Port Weller, Ontario, where the vessel was being prepared for service, officials said.
A thorough inspection will be conducted to determine damage.
