Portage County has borders with Summit County to the West, Stark County to the South, Mahoning County to the South and East, Trumbull to the East, and Geauga County to the North.
In the county, the population is spread out with 23.70% under the age of 18, 14.30% from 18 to 24, 28.60% from 25 to 44, 22.30% from 45 to 64, and 11.00% who are 65 years of age or older.
Portage County is arranged as a 4x5 grid of 20 rectanges: 18 unincorporated townships containing 9 cities and villages; and two incorporated townships which are fully occupied by one city each.

To add, there were no problem precincts in Portage County, as reported by any of the oversight groups on election day.
The only thing that I feel that could have been negotiated differently, was the intention of the County to conduct this visual inspection of all the ballots in the county, as the additional witnesses required had to be found within a less than 24 hour framework.
It was obvious by the notes on these ballots, that Portage county board employees and officials went out of their way to look up wrong addresses written on ballots by the voters, in both their system, and the Haines directory to find these folks, and count their votes.

Ohio parents, students, property-owners and community groups need to pull up chairs at the table where school funding is being discussed and work out a way to fund schools that is constitutional and equitable.
