PORTSMOUTH - David Dawley was in Portsmouth District Court Monday, where he was summoned following his New Year’s Eve arrest on an outstanding warrant.
The written summonses were handed to him by different Portsmouth police officers for skateboarding on public property on Sept. 30, Oct. 7, and Nov. 18.
Portsmouth city ordinance Chapter 7, Section 7.344 prohibits roller-skating and is also applicable to in-line skating, non-motorized scooters and skateboarding, according to local police.
