Si è svolto ieri mattina, nel Museo Provinciale di Potenza, un incontro organizzato dalla Provincia di Potenza per discutere della possibilità di stabilizzazione dei lavoratori socialmente utili da parte dei comuni con popolazione inferiore a cinquemila abitanti, grazie alle agevolazioni previste da un recente decreto legge.
Sessantotto enti (62 comuni e 6 comunità montane) sottoscriveranno domani, alle ore 10.00, presso la sala Commissioni del consiglio provinciale, la convenzione di adesione al Centro servizi territoriale della Provincia di Potenza.
Idee, esperienze, percorsi possibili'' è il tema del seminario di aggiornamento promosso dall'Assessorato alla Pubblica Istruzione della Provincia di Potenza in collaborazione con il Cidi (Centro Iniziativa Democratica Insegnanti).

The Italian mainland's highest provincial capital, Potenza is built on a spur between two valleys, and presents an unpromising vista from afar, seemingly consisting of nothing but characterless modern blocks surrounded by unsightly and polluting industrial works.
Potenza has a few good pubs: the Barracuda, in Via Caserma Lucania (closed daytime and Mon), near Piazza Matteotti, serving panini and other snacks, and Goblin's, right on the central Piazza Pagano, which serves Irish draught beer and also makes a good breakfast stop for its cornetti and chocolate faggotti.
The management here also operates Potenza's main venue for live music, located in the suburbs; just check the posters, consult the website www.carpediemlive.net, or ask for details of what's on.
