Although its success has been overshadowed by the collapse and failure of the French aviation industry in the mid-to late-'30s, the Potez 25 was one of the most effective and well-known warplanes of the inter-war period.
First flown in 1924, the Potez 25 was a sturdy-looking unequal-span biplane built with the ability to accommodate several different power plants, engineering stretch into the aircraft in an era when designs came and went rapidly.
The Potez 25 saw action with the Chinese against the Japanese, the Paraguayans against the Bolivians, and the Ethiopians against the Italians.

Pursuant to a private conversation between Mr Henri Potez end General Denain, who was the Air Minister at the time, the POTEZ was constructed on the personel initiative of its author in a record time.
Along with the stendard POTEZ 540 came out a 541 model equipped with Gnome-Rhone engine 14 Kdrs, 860 HP, the construction of which was not pursued; then the 542 with Lorraine Petrel engines, some 50 units of which were actually delivered.
The defense armament included three machine guns cross-operating at less than 25 metres from the plane, one on front, one at rear and one under the middle tank, retractable and electrically operated.

One of the most famous military aircraft of the inter-war period, the Potez 25 was developed from the Potez 24 A.2-category prototype, which had been designed by Louis Coroller and flown in 1924.

The Potez 63 was originally designed in answer to a French Air Ministry specification issued October 31, 1934, for a Multiplace legere de Defense, or light, multi-seat defensive aircraft.

It can't be Paraguyan, because the colors are reversed for their roundel, the same as the French roundel.
I'm no guru on the type but my references state that it was made in 87 different variants, 3500 were built in France and it was also licence built in Poland, Yugoslavia, Romania and Portugal.
