Poulson, who specializes in the jumps, javelin and hurdles, won the 400m hurdles and heptathlon titles at the Big Sky Championships, May 15-18 in Missoula, MT. Her highest conference finish to that point was fourth in the heptathlon at the 2001 Big Sky meet.
Poulson, who was in second place in the event after the first day of competition, snagged the heptathlon title after long jumping 17-11, registering a javelin toss of 118-6 and running a season-best 2:21.18 in the 800m.
Poulson is currently ranked 11th in the heptathlon with a provisional qualifying mark of 5365 which came at the ISU Springfest meet.
