		Power metal is pretty much just the same thing as normal heavy metal.
		@DeathViking: Power Metal is hard to define, and I agree with you that Therion is maybe a little bit inspirated by Power, but they're not quite Power.

		For a Power Metal band I think he is the perfect kind of singer, not too much out of key, although when he hits high notes (and he often does) he can be a little irritating.
		For myself, I think that they are still one of the unique Power Metal band out there and I’m kind of missing this freshness that I had with this band at first, when I listen to today’s Italian Power Metal bands.
		In fact, SHADOWS OF STEEL should be named more often in Power Metal bands credits, as they had composed, with their first album, a unique album.

		Not fully a power metal band, but definately much heavier and faster on this album, with a powerful mid range singer.
		They’ve chosen their own way to deliver their style of good solid mid-pitched vocal led songs that can be as fast as possible and in the next moment slowed down, with plenty of changes along the way.
		Lance doesn't like Balance Of Power (his previous band) to be mentioned in his list of many bands he has fronted, but he shouldn't be annoyed, as his work with BOP was their best.

		I guess Heroic or Epic Power Metal is sometimes the object of derisive humor.
		It's really a hybrid, a blend of power, progressive and symphonic metals, an amazing composition, highly melodic with tons of hooks and great vocals and also features a symphonic orchestra and a choir.
		They combine elements of those four bands: they mostly play speed metal in the style of Labyrinth, the melodies of the guitars and the keyboard remind me the melodies of the Finish guys, the chorus are a bit epic in the style of Rhapsody and finally there're some progressive parts, mainly in the drums.
