He was born December 15, 1880 around Pozsega County, Hungary as son to Alexander Farkas I and Anna Mache/Makki (spelling uncertain).
Alexander Farkas II married Rozália Gócza in 1904 in Pozsega County, Daruvar District, Hungary and came to the US shortly after that time, sending for his wife Rozá in 1906.
A grandchild to Alexander and Rose (Goza) Farkas held onto the painting.

My grandmother's neice wrote Daruvar, Pozsega, Hungary (formerly, Yugoslavia) as her place of birth, which is now in Croatia.
My grandmother's daughter is also from Daruvar, as written on her passport.
