Unlike most of the other temples, it was built mostly in red brick.

Looking off into the distance from the top of Preah Rup, you can see a well worn path through the forest.
The reason the path is so well worn is the possibility of land mines still in the area from the decades of conflict in this country.
There are still an estimated 4-6 million mines left in Cambodia, a country with only 13 million people on land which is roughly the size of the state of Georgia.

The group is made up of the three temples of Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei.

It has the same style as Preah Rup, and was also built under Rajendravarman II Ta Keo.
This was built at the end of the 900's by Jayavarman V, but was never finished (which is likely why it looks so plain).
