RPGnet: The Inside Scoop on Gaming
This is supposed to be part of the Predator & Prey series, a series which the back cover tells us "examines the Hunters newly arrived in the World of Darkness and the supernatural foes they have been created to destroy." Well, you won't really see any Hunters in this novel.
In short it's a Vampire novel that I have to admit was probably the best Vampire novel I've read, though I've only read three fiction novels in my lifetime devoted to bloodsucking fiends (including this one), so that's not much of an accomplishment.
For a novel that's supposed to be a Hunter/Vampire crossover, you would think at least one honest-to-gosh Hunter would show up in it.

By a strange coincidence it is also the same story as the first Alien vs Predator graphic novel which I read some time back.
This graphic novel is part of the "Alien's vs Predator" series of which I am quite fond.
I am sorry to say but almost no graphic novel that I have read is worthy of a whole book of text.

Welsh's novel is a literal head trip of a book that brings us into the wildly active, albeit coma-beset, mind of Roy Strang, whose hallucinatory quest to eradicate the evil predator/scavenger marabou stork is routinely interrupted by grisly memories of the social and family dysfunction that brought him to this state.
Trainspotting is the novel that launched the sensational career of Irvine Welsh - an authentic, unrelenting, and strangely exhilarating group portrait of blasted lives in Edinburgh that has the linguistic energy of A Clockwork Orange and the literary impact of Last Exit to Brooklyn.
The new novel by the author of the cult bestseller "Trainspotting" delivers the story of four boys growing up in Edinburgh, and about the loyalties, the experiences--and the secrets--that hold them together into their 30s.

Queer As Folk Novel Improves on TV Show - 3/14/2003 - Publishers Weekly
Brockton, a veteran of TV novelizations (including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Star Trek) will remind readers of the time when National Book Award-winner Paul Monette wrote literate movie tie-ins for Scarface, Predator and Nosferatu the Vampire.
The novel is filled with transitions: Michael comes out and loses his virginity; the ueber gay dance club Babylon opens in town and Brian begins to taste the power he has over men; and the two are on the verge of leaving high school for different colleges that could spell the end of their friendship.
Fans will be happy to hear that the first novel is better written than most of the episodes of the steamy TV show.

The researchers suggest that the foot thumps act as a generalised anti-predator alarm signal in Tammar Wallabies, and that the wallabies reacted to the mounts because of a general similarity in predator size, shape and forward-placement of the eyes.
The wallabies reacted strongly to both the Fox and the Cat.

Discussion: EXTINCTION AND NATICID PREDATION OF THE BIVALVE CHIONE VON MÜHLFELD IN THE LATE NEOGENE OF FLORIDA
A stereotyped, unchanging handling behaviour may present novel challenges to the predator when faced with new prey, or the naticids may have altered their behaviours to cope with the new prey.
These observations suggest that the reaction of predator-prey systems to extinction and replacement of prey species is more likely to be a mosaic of predatory responses, rather than a single and overall reduction of stereotypy.
We hypothesize that the reduction in the stereotypy of prey size selection after the Plio-Pleistocene transition is a result of the different morphologies of C.
