If a 5th year is chosen to be prefect, is he prefect through 5th year, 6th year, or 7th year.
I agree with SFHPFan, The prefects that were the fifth year, moving into the 6th, could be able to share some "prefect secrets" to the new 5th years, unless they do something wrong to the rules, they have no real good reason to demote them into a regular student.
The head boy and girl could have been a prefect, the type of person who is head boy/girl is the same as the type of person who is a prefect.
