  PC Magazine: Adobe Premiere Pro
Premiere Pro's interface is still dominated by a timeline on the bottom, a project window on the left, and source and preview windows in the center and upper right.
As with Premiere 6.5, Premiere Pro's transitions and 2-D and 3-D effects are unremarkable: Premiere's titling function, which was significantly upgraded in Version 6.5, remains the best available, with exquisite precision and excellent title design tools, as well as many professional-grade templates for business, wedding, music, nature, birthdays, and other events.
Premiere Pro is good enough across the board to be a very worthy addition to Adobe's excellent suite of digital-content-creation tools.

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Premiere Magazine at Epinions.com
Premiere's film reviews are few for a magazine about films, but very well written.
It even goes into great detail saying that many other magazines have tried to print similar articles, but before they could go to press they were told that they would lose any chance of ever interviewing Arnold, or press cooperation with other films by the same studio.
The personal feel by the author of each article almost gives it a 'People Magazine' type of feel, as insulting as that may sound to a magazine that wants to be taken seriously as a respectable magazine about an industry.

Every year since 1987 "PREMIERE" magazine in the US has asked a panel of 15-20 well-known American critics to rate the previous year's major movies (four stars being the highest rating).
The result is a massive table of titles and ratings that takes up a two-page spread in the magazine's April issue and is scrutinised religiously by list-maniacs like me for months afterwards.
On the other hand, a well-known film like TO DIE FOR makes the 1995 absolute-scores list even though only 3 critics liked it enough to give it four stars - its average is actually not that great, but enough critics saw it for their ratings to pile up into Ten-Best status.
