Preservationist - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A preservationist generally refers to one who wishes to preserve a historic structure from demolition or degradation.
A key difference between the Preservationist and Conservationist schools is their view of the use of environmental resources.
The idea of preservationist communities is part of a broader strategy in which individuals achieve independence from the centralized power grid, forming sustainable communities that could provide mutual support in the event of critical depletion of non-renewable resources.

 I am a preservationist
At the plenary session, several speakers came to the podium and declared, "I am a preservationist." As the speakers followed one another, the session began to resemble a spiritual revival where true believers declared their faith and allegiance to an over-arching value, in this case, historic preservation.
At heart, nearly every human is a "preservationist." Everyone works to retain a sense of history, tradition, and memory of one's family history, one's community heritage, and national identity.
Thus, most preservationists are the ones who lead community associations, write neighborhood newsletters, attend planning and zoning commission meetings, join in community improvement activities, maintain their houses and commercial buildings, and vote for preservation-supporting politicians.

 The Preservationist Alternative
The racial preservationist dream is a dream of the Nordish race regaining the conditions of racial separation and independence it requires for continued life and control of its own life.
The difference between the racial preservationist dream and the racial nihilist dream is nothing less than a matter of Nordish survival or extinction, of Nordish life or death.
The racial preservationist dream is a declaration of Nordish racial independence and self-determination, a proclamation of Nordish racial separation and liberation.

 Separation: The Preservationist Imperative
Racial preservationist alternatives -- i.e., separation if multiracial conditions already exist, or immigration restrictions to prevent the creation of multiracial conditions where they do not yet exist -- are not considered, but are evaded or denied.
Cultural preservationists are somewhat protected in their opposition to multiculturalism by the fact that many "liberals" also oppose multiculturalism for fear that it will obstruct and slow the process of intermixture-assimilation.
Cultural preservationists should be made aware that separation for racial preservation would also be the surest means -- perhaps the only means -- to achieve their goal of cultural preservation.

 Change Without Denigration: Addressing Anti-Semitism
Throughout his first book, Boyd refers to those in the genital integrity movement as "preservationists." While some of his observations reflect the state of the movement in the late 1980s and are no longer valid today, his call for change without denigration is just as important today as it was then.
Preservationists seem to understand well that simply to say "I'm not anti-Semitic" is about as convincing as, "Some of my best friends are Negroes." Even if true, such statements sound suspiciously like a cover for prejudice.
In terms of circumcision, what the preservationist movement is doing is re-drawing the line, the limit, not in a sexist manner between boys and girls, but humanely between helpless babies and legal adults able to make informed choices about their own bodies.

 From Progressive to Preservationist
At the far left, the preservationist, anti-technocratic extreme of the new spectrum, is the radical back-to-the-land movement, which believes in total self reliance - from home-birthing, to building your own house of local materials, to producing your own energy - and which refuses to work in the organized economy.
By contrast, the preservationist end of the spectrum is riddled with gaps.
The largest voluntary organization to form in Russia immediately after the fall of Communism was the association for historical preservation, and a growing environmental movement forced Russia to abandon plans to redirect the flow of its northern rivers.

Whether or not the preservationist view is inferior to the productionist view, and whether or not the USA and the so-called developed countries emit less gases than the so-called third-world countries is really a political matter.
Human sinfulness can be manifest in both the preservationist view (laziness), or the productionist view (threat to life forms it purports to serve).

The Preservationist Doctrine, natural behavioral inclinations (such as the xenophobic response), and the sensibilities of the average person are all that stand between us and racial oblivion.
By contrast, the Preservationist Doctrine rests on the principle that race is a dignity, that it deserves respect, and that one should value the preservation of race per se.
Because the Preservationist Doctrine counsels respect for all races, and is actually concerned with their preservation, it will be difficult for amalgamationists to denounce preservationists as being racist, without revealing their own agenda.

And in this case, that means acknowledging that the entire burden of paying for this is going to fall on those who buy, sell and own real estate, with transfer taxes or a surcharge on property taxes.
