Council agreed that the ANC and the people of South Africa have made great strides since the historic 50th National Conference of the ANC in Mafikeng in 1997.
Council hereby calls on all cadres at all levels of government and the state to ensure that they speed up the process of re-engineering government, so that integrated planning and implementation can become a reality.
Council resolved that structures that have been set up to ensure better co-ordination within the Alliance should be activated, that joint programmes of action should be implemented with greater determination, and that issues of disagreement should be handled in a mature manner reflective of true revolutionaries.

 Proceedings of the general council
At 9.00 am the council was led in worship by Rev Barkev and Mrs Hosanna Apartian of the Armenian Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon, assisted by Mr Abdul Noor of the Synod of the Nile of the Evangelical Church, Egypt.
The general council calls upon all member churches to ratify this statement and their membership of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches by resolution at the next Annual assembly of their church and asks that these decisions be communicated forthwith to the executive committee in writing so that appropriate action can be taken.
The president ruled that this matter could be referred to the executive committee for subsequent action since according to the rules it was not possible to increase the number of the members of the executive committee from 25 to 26 persons.

The Municipality agreed to give the General Council permission to construct 12 new prefabricated classrooms on a piece of land which was originally set aside for building a High School.
The City has agreed to the Council using one and a half acres of the land in French Quarter for the classrooms until the third College has been built.

According to PFF constitution, general council meeting should be held once a year in the month of August with a notice to all the members 21 days before the meeting.
After taking over the charge, he invited the general council at a lunch on Sept 12, but later informed the members that it should be considered as general council meeting.
The president further said he could again call a general council meeting but that would be the loss of funds and time.

Well, I suspect that it would be amusing to most people but given the General Medical Council have limitations in their sense of humour, what other comment could one make of a lady named Catherine Green who talks to third parties about confidential files, sends out legally privileged information and refuses to answer her emails.
It's an example of the ways in which the General Medical Council are capable of defaming doctors, discrediting them and abusing their rights, they seem to be intolerant of criticism of their conduct within the public domain.
Prior to that it was known as The General Council of Medical Education and Registration of the United Kingdom.

 General Dental Council to get more teeth
Key changes are in response to a report on private dentistry by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) which found that patients lack the information needed to make informed choices about their treatment, that patients can be confused about the cost of treatment and, should things go wrong, procedures for dealing with complaints are inadequate.
I am grateful to the General Dental Council for their co-operation in drawing up these proposals.
The draft legislation proposes the Council can introduce a scheme to deal with such complaints, and the Council is committed to doing so.
