Prilep (Macedonian: Прилеп, other forms: Parleap, Pirlepe and Perlepe) is a city of 73,925 citizens, covering 1.675 square kilometers in the northern part of the Pelagonia Plain in the southern part of the Republic of Macedonia.
Prilep is part of a district with the same name (District of Prilep) and is accessed by the M5/E65.
Prilep is known as "the city under Marko's Towers" because of its proximity to the Towers of the legendary hero King Marko.

A group of wealthier citizens in the town Prilep founded Prilep Brewery in 1924.
The second “beginning” is in 1952, when with a decision of the City Council of the Local Government of Prilep, The Brewery was activated and started with the regular production.
Because of the lack of expertise, three people in Becej-Vojvodina, were engaged to work in the Brewery.
Most of the young people all over Macedonia are now informed about it and know that this is the unique opportunity to realise their dreams.
However, it is very important for our town that two or three months ago many people in Prilep didn't know neither about the Blue Sky Network nor the summer school.
It was really interesting what Foltin introduced to their fans in Prilep and to everybody who met them for the first time.
