CameraHobby - Prima 42-inch Plasma TV
For those with a real home theatre using a full featured amplifier, you could bypass all the chintzy connections of this TV and just use your amp as the component switch, but it is rather irksome that a TV that once recently sold for $4000, to offer such low level connections to the consumer.
Incidentally, the cheaper LG plasma looked very similar to the Prima with only a few cosmetic differences, so maybe the guy in the lineup was onto something when he suggested that Prima sourced its plasma panels from LG.
For those very serious about their video quality the Prima is not likely to satisfy and one would have to move up to the CAN $4000 units to seek the quality appropriate for a high-end home theatre experience built around a plasma TV.
