In 2002 another documentary Peterka: leto odločitve (Peterka: a year of decision) was directed by Vlado Škafar and is about his way out of his personal crisis.
Till now he won at 15 events, thus being the most successful Slovenian winter sports (A person trained to compete in sports) athlete and also one of the most successful Slovenian (An active diversion requiring physical exertion and competition) sports personalities.

This documentary film about Primoz Peterka is a living film monument to the young champion and his decision to find his way back to the top; however, it is also a film about a young man and his maturing.
The film shows a year in the life of Primoz Peterka, one of the greatest Slovenian champions and idols, twice the winner of the Ski Jumping World Championship.
Primoz Peterka reached every goal he dared dream about that year.

His biggest success came with the 2005 Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, where he became world champion on normal hill HS 100 on February 19th 2005, second gold medal for Slovenia after Petek's victory in Predazzo in 1991.
The very next day, together with Primoz Peterka, Jure Bogataj and Jernej Damjan, he won the bronze medal in a team competition for Slovenia.
He lives in Kamnik and is member of Mengeš ski club.

Clint Jones (Steamboat Springs, CO), the lone American to qualify, was 23rd in sub-zero weather.
Peterka jumped 131.5 and 143.5 meters for 293.5 points with Malysz going 129.5 and 144 meters for 291.3.

Than I'd like to say that I hope our boys, the Slovenians, will have a better winter than last year when only Zonta was of any ghood, but even he faded away after the New Year.
Peterka did quite OK during the summer grand prix even though he's not that fond of it.
They all had their periods where they dominated but they all failed to do it over a longer period.

"Peterka: Year of Decision", a documentary about Slovenia's best ski jumper Primoz Peterka, has been awarded a honourable mention at the 22nd international festival "Sports Movies & TV" in Milan.
The film, which has been directed by Vlado Skafar, will receive the award on Wednesday, 03 November alongside four other productions.
This means it also has the chance to be named winner, as the jury will select the winner among the shortlisted quintet.
