Prince Georg Friedrich Ferdinand of Prussia, (German: Georg Friedrich Prinz von Preußen) (born June 10, 1976) is the current head of the royal house of Prussia and the imperial house of Germany.
Georg Friedrich is only son of the late Prince Louis Ferdinand II of Prussia and Countess Donata of Castell-Rüdenhausen (born a member of a mediatized princely family, she is now Duchess Donata of Oldenburg by a second marriage).
As a result of the 1442 Treaty of Wittstock between the House of Mecklenburg and the House of Hohenzollern, Georg Friedrich is considered by some people to be the heir of the grand-ducal thrones of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz.

It was during such a patrol on March 21, 1917 that he was forced to land with a bullet in his engine and a slight wound in the foot.
