Princes End - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Princes End is an area of Tipton, West Midlands, England, near the border with Coseley, which was heavily developed during the 19th century with the construction of factories.
Princes End had a railway station which was closed in 1916 as part of wartime cost cutting measures.
This meant that the line between Princes End and Wednesbury was never used for passenger trains again, although it remained open to goods trains until 1980.

Illustrated Guide to Places to Visit - Princes Street, Edinburgh
Princes Street was part of the "New Town" of Edinburgh, which was built in the latter half of the 18th century during the reign of the Hanoverian King George III.
This description of Princes Street is divided into two sections - the south side of the street which includes the gardens and castle and, on the second page, a quick tour of the retail outlets on the north side of the street.
At the far end of the south side of Princes Street are two churches - St John's at the corner of Lothian Road and St Cuthbert's (the large building in the foreground of the picture above, which was taken from the ramparts of Edinburgh castle in winter time, after a fall of snow).

It is Henry's record which suggests that he could have killed the princes without hesitation or compunction, as he killed their cousin Edward and as he and his son put others to death for the crime of being Plantagenets.
A strong-minded conspirator, she was in London at the center of power as the wife of Lord Stanley (Steward of Richard's household) despite her Lancastrian blood and Tudor son, and there seem to have been few scruples she would not have set aside to advance her son's passage to the throne.
The death of the princes was doubly beneficial to her cause as kingmaker: it removed rival claimants to the throne and, by throwing suspicion on Richard, weakened his position too.

Auld Edinburgh - Tourist information, Accommodation, Eateries, History and much more
Princes street divides the Old Town and the New Town, a fact emphasised by the fact that on the Old Town side there are no buildings, giving an uninterrupted view across Princes Street Gardens to the Castle, whereas on the New Town side it is a bustling commercial centre.
However, don't expect too much from the architecture of Princes Street for it is a notorious mish-mash of clashing architectural styles, not highly regarded by the architecturally minded..
Nevertheless Princes Street is still a delight to wander down, offering some of the most impressive views of the Castle in the whole of Edinburgh, and also has most of the usual High Street shopping outlets.
