Princeton is also home to Morven, the former home of Richard Stockton, a signer of the United States Declaration of Independence who was forced to flee his home during the Revolution.
In 1912, Woodrow Wilson, a former professor (and University president of Princeton) and Governor of New Jersey, was elected President of the United States.

Princeton, N.J. Blair Hall's staircase and arch were built to serve as the gateway from the old Dinky station to the Princeton campus.
Known to New Jersey Transit as the Princeton Branch but to everyone else as the Dinky, the shuttle is a lifeline for undergraduates, faculty members, university employees, and visiting speakers, as well as for local commuters on their way to jobs in Manhattan or Philadelphia.
In 1905, the branch was double-tracked and a new swing bridge was constructed.

Domenico DiFalco, 69, of Princeton, died October 7 at the Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, surrounded by his family.
As an active volunteer throughout her life she was a board member of Family Services, Princeton Borough Shade Tree Commission, The Christmas Boutique for The Medical Center at Princeton, the Princeton Branch of the English Speaking Union, Princeton Battlefield Area Preservation Society, and for 40 years the Association of the North Princeton Developmental Center.
Born in Princeton and a lifelong Princeton resident, he was a graduate of St. Paul's Grammar School and Princeton High School with the class of 1950.
