		Robin Wood is the only known alive and kicking offspring of a Slayer - his mother Nikki was killed in a confrontation with Spike in 1977 New York.
		Wood has been keeping a close eye on Buffy since he arrived in Sunny D and is even being influenced by her, indicated by the use of the word [and I use the term loosely] 'Focusy'.
		Wood discovered Spike was responsible for his mothers death and being the charming person he is, lured Spike to a cross filled garage and tried to stake him.

		Wood staring down Spike, finding it so hard to hold back from killing Spike that his hand is bleeding from holding his stake so hard -- it's a potentially powerful moment that would make for a perfect transition into the opening credits -- except it's all completely ruined by an unnecessary and cheesy line.
		Giles popping in on Wood and Buffy, with his complaints about the library computers is a funny reminder of I, Robot -- You, Jane, all the way back in season 1.
		Spike telling Wood that he's now acting by his own free will -- and that he wanted Wood to know that as he now kills him -- is a cool moment (that resembles Angel's similar comments to Wesley at the hospital) that turned into a cheap gimmick.

		Robin Wood, principal emeritus of the Victoria Conservatory and for many years the Lansdowne scholar for UVic's school of music, died after a lengthy battle with cancer on Feb. 28.
		Two nights before his death, the Lieutenant Governor presented Robin and his wife, Winifred Scott Wood, with Lifetime Achievement Awards for their 39 years of service and support to the province's musical community.
		Robin wore many hats during his lifetime, including performer, host of a television music program, adjudicator and examiner.
